The Wolf Among Us Remastered pre order: Current Status and What to Do Now

Is a pre-order open right now?

Is there a The Wolf Among Us Remastered pre order yet? As of October 15, 2026, no. The Wolf Among Us Remastered pre order status is simple to describe: Telltale has not announced one. The official store pages on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Epic Games Store, and the Nintendo store only offer a Wishlist option, and the remaster is set to release digitally on October 29, 2026.

A pre-order usually comes with a release date, a price, and a store button that lets you reserve the game. None of those details is confirmed for this remaster yet. That means any site that shows a price or a reserve button for The Wolf Among Us Remastered is ahead of what Telltale and PM Studios have published, and you should treat those claims with caution until the official store page shows the same information.

What is confirmed about the remaster

The Wolf Among Us Remastered is a remaster of Telltale's 2013 episodic game The Wolf Among Us. Telltale developed it, and Telltale and PM Studios publish it. The launch date was announced at Gamescom 2026 in Cologne. The remaster is not The Wolf Among Us 2, which is a separate project, so make sure any store listing you open is for the remaster.

Physical retail editions are planned for Q1 2027, with additional details still to be announced. No retailer, physical price, or collector's edition has been named. A The Wolf Among Us Remastered pre order for physical copies is therefore not possible to check yet, because nothing has been opened for sale.

How to track the pre-order when it opens

Wishlisting is the one official way to follow the game before buying. Add the title to your Steam wishlist, or to the equivalent list on PlayStation, Xbox, Epic, or the Nintendo store. The list keeps the game in one place, and it costs nothing and does not commit you to a purchase.

When The Wolf Among Us Remastered pre order details are published, they should appear on the official store pages first. Use this routine instead of checking random sites:

1. Check the official Steam app page, which lists the platform and store details.
2. Open Telltale's official page for the game and read the news posts.
3. Join the Telltale Discord or follow the Telltale forum for announcements.
4. Buy only from an official store, and only after the price is shown there.

A wishlist and a pre-order are not the same thing. A wishlist is a reminder that keeps The Wolf Among Us Remastered on your list, while a pre-order is a purchase made before release day. Only the wishlist is open right now, so a The Wolf Among Us Remastered pre order should not be expected on any store until Telltale confirms one.

Store pages can change between now and launch, so note the date you last checked. If a pre-order does open, compare its date, price, and platform list with the official store page before you click buy.

What to do before October 29

You can prepare now without paying anything. Check the PC requirements on Steam against your hardware. The minimum lists 64-bit Windows 10 with 8 GB RAM, and the recommended setup targets 1080p at 60 FPS on 64-bit Windows 11. Storage size is not listed yet, so keep some space free.

If you already own the 2013 original, a free upgrade has not been announced, so do not expect one. You can replay the original story context to refresh your memory before launch. The five episodes run from "Faith" to "Cry Wolf," and the remaster keeps the same five-episode story. Telltale has also not announced a demo, so the original is the only way to test the story before the release date.

Why early offers need checking

Some gaming sites publish early-offer articles before any store has opened a pre-order, and a few name prices or bonuses that the publisher has not confirmed. For The Wolf Among Us Remastered, none of those details is confirmed. The official Steam store page for the game shows no price and no pre-order option at this time, so it is the best reference to compare against.

When you read a claim about a The Wolf Among Us Remastered pre order, ask three questions. Does the official store page show the same date? Does Telltale's news post mention it? Does the offer apply to the platform you plan to use? If the answer to any of those is no, treat the claim as unverified.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Has Telltale announced a The Wolf Among Us Remastered pre order?

No. As of October 15, 2026, Telltale has not announced a pre-order, and the official store pages only offer a wishlist. Check the Steam page and Telltale's official site for updates before you buy anything.

Q: What is the price of the pre-order?

Telltale has not announced a price yet, so any number you see elsewhere is not confirmed. The Steam listing does not show a price either, so there is no official figure to compare against.

Q: Are there extra items for early buyers?

Telltale has not announced any early-buyer extras. The bonus content on official pages, such as developer commentary and concept art, is listed as part of the game's features rather than as a pre-order offer.

Q: Where should I watch for the pre-order announcement?

Watch the Steam app page and Telltale's official game page first, then the Telltale news section and Discord. Those sources name the date, the price, and the store links for a The Wolf Among Us Remastered pre order.
