✓ Last verified 2026-10-15 · How we check facts
Quick answer
The Wolf Among Us Remastered launches on October 29, 2026 as a digital release. Physical editions are planned for Q1 2027, while price and pre-order details are not announced yet.
The Wolf Among Us Remastered release date is October 29, 2026. That is the digital release date Telltale announced at Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, after the remaster was first revealed in June 2026. The Wolf Among Us Remastered is a remaster of Telltale's 2013 episodic adventure, so the date marks when the updated version of the same five-episode story arrives, not a new game with a separate schedule.
As of October 15, 2026, the game is not out yet. Anyone searching for The Wolf Among Us Remastered release date should treat it as an upcoming launch, so reviews, launch-day patches and player feedback cannot be checked today.
The Confirmed Launch Date
The Wolf Among Us Remastered release date is the one fact that has been locked in by the publisher. Telltale published a launch date post on its news page, and the Steam store page for the game lists the same plan. The official Telltale page for the remaster is the best place to confirm any change, because it shows the current platform list and wishlist buttons.

Where the Game Launches
Telltale has announced the remaster for PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. Players on Xbox Series X and S can run the Xbox One version through backward compatibility. The Nintendo Switch version is the series' first appearance on a Nintendo platform.
Steam lists the game for Windows only, so Mac and Linux players should not expect a launch version. Telltale has not announced a separate Switch 2 version, and there is no native PS4 or Xbox Series version to name. Mobile versions on iOS and Android have not been announced for the remaster, even though the 2013 original reached those devices.
What Is Not Announced Yet
Several purchase details are still missing. Telltale has not announced a price, and the Steam page does not show one. There is no pre-order offer and no discount for owners of the original 2013 game. A demo has not been announced either.
Physical retail editions are planned for Q1 2027, with additional details to be announced. No retailer, physical price or collector's edition has been named. If you need any of these facts before launch, watch the official Telltale site, the Telltale news page and the Steam store page, since new details will appear there first.
How to Prepare Before October 29
The most useful step today is to wishlist the game on the store you plan to buy from. The official pages offer a Wishlist button on the Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Epic and Nintendo store pages, so the wishlist is the only store action available right now.
If you play on PC, check the Steam requirements early. The minimum setup asks for 64-bit Windows 10 and 8 GB of RAM, while the recommended setup calls for 64-bit Windows 11 and 8 GB of RAM with a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB or Radeon RX 6400 4GB. Storage size is not listed yet. It also helps to refresh your memory of Fabletown and the five episodes of the original, because the remaster keeps the same story.
Timing matters for a few reasons. The Wolf Among Us Remastered release date of October 29, 2026 is the fixed point, while store pricing, physical edition details and any pre-order option are still open. Set a reminder for the week before launch, then check the official pages again. If a pre-order option opens before launch, compare it with the standard digital listing so you know exactly what you are getting before you pay.
Expect the launch to be the first time you can judge the remaster fully. Until then, reviews and player reports do not exist for the remaster, so there is no review score or Steam user summary to read. That is also why this page sticks to confirmed dates and features rather than predicting how the game will play.
If you are planning a Nintendo Switch purchase, note that the Nintendo version is the one Telltale has announced for Nintendo hardware, and the launch is the series' Nintendo debut. If you are planning an Xbox purchase, remember that Xbox Series X and S use the Xbox One version through backward compatibility, so the console route is not a separate native build.
Confirm The Wolf Among Us Remastered release date against the official Telltale post before you plan around it. Mark the official Telltale news page and the Steam store page now, because they will carry any change to the schedule before the game goes live.
